CL Chamber invites public to "Fall into our Soup"

The first annual "Fall Into Our Soup" event will be presented Saturday, November 20, by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Local restaurants are participating by preparing their favorite soup and sampler recipes to be judged by an expert panel and the public.

The gathering is to be held at the Maricopa Ranch Resort from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. A small admission fee will be charged with children under 12 getting in free. Door prizes will be offered hourly.

Participating restaurants include Anchor's Landing (formerly the Stagecoach Inn), Ed's Old Windmill, J's BBQ, the Market At River's Edge, the Old Sattler Bakery, Papa Dock's, Plooky's Cajun Boiling Pot, Roy's Seafood and Steaks, Skull Creek BBQ, Spuds, and the Garden Gate.

Nothing signals the change of seasons and the autumn like a bowl of hot soup. And the talented restuaranteurs preparing their special recipes will be a first for the Canyon Lake Chamber.

The public is cordially invited to enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie and good eats at "Fall Into Our Soup," Saturday, November 20, starting at 1 p.m.
