Explosion destroys home, two critically injured
The Comal County Fire Marshall's office has reported that on Sunday, November 28 at approximately 5:56 p.m., a residence located at 1349 Timberwood Trail was completely destroyed by an unknown explosion.
The residents of the home, Britton Ware Jr. and his wife Susie Ware, were critically injured in the explosion. The two were transported by AirLife helicopter to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio where both are reported to be in critical condition.
The following day, Monday, November 29, investigators met at the location of the mishap to begin their investigation.
The cause of the explosion had not been determined by press time.
The agencies involved are: the Comal County Fire Marshal's Office, the
City of New Braunfels Fire Marshal's Office, the Texas Fire Marshal's Office,
the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, and the the Texas Railroad
Commission.
