It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Christmas events around Canyon Lake fill the calendar in the weeks of December leading up to the Holidays. The Annual Hope Hospice Tree of Lights ceremony and Angel Luminaria Walk on Monday, December 6, saw nearly 200 in attendance as Santa arrived riding a Canyon Lake Fire Department truck. Children enjoyed Santa as their parents were entertained by Peaches Kelly and Robert Maxwell Case. This year's Chairman of the event, M.J. Slater of Guadalupe Valley Telephone Cooperative threw the switch at 6 p.m. to light the tree. CRRC's eighth annual North Pole Village opens this Thursday evening, December 9 at 7 p.m. and continues Friday and Saturday from 7- 10pm. It will also be open next week , December 16th to 18th, Thursday. Friday and Saturday from 7 10 p.m.. The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Community Tree Lighting at 6:00 pm on December 1. Their 26th Annual Christmas Parade will be held Saturday, December 11 at 11 a.m. Area businesses and organizations will be manning floats and Santa is expected to make his appearance for the benefit of the children. | ||||||||||||||||
