PEC recycles Christmas trees
Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) has announced that again this year the company will be offering to recycle your Christmas tree.
When you donate your undecorated, natural tree and visit the lobby, PEC give you a pine seedling - while supplies last.
As in past years, PEC will mulch your tree and distribute the chips to area parks and playgrounds. Trees will be accepted from Monday, Dec. 27, 2004 until Monday, Jan. 3, 2005 at the Canyon Lake District Office in Sattler at 1530 FM 2673 during normal business hours.
