The remains of a pickup truck that spun out of control into oncoming traffic were strewn about State Hwy. 46 near the intersection at Spring Branch Road for hours on Monday. The spinout caused a massive five-car accident, which killed two, injured two others and completely destroyed one vehicle, and was one of many accidents striking area roads, highways and emergency service personnel in the wake of a weekend freeze.
