County getting four more years with Scheel

Early voting results that put incumbent Danny Scheel in the lead in the race for Comal County Judge maintained momentum as the night and the counting continued.

Two races too close to call

As of presstime on Tuesday, two elections in Comal County were still too close to declare -- that for State Representative and for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1.

Millikin re-elected in Precinct 2

In the race for Precinct #2 Commissioner, incumbent Jay Millikin took the lead over Charles Cantu with 71 percent of the early votes.

Waldrip retained as DA

In the race for Criminal District Attorney, the Comal County incumbent, Dib Waldrip maintained his over 70 percent early voting lead, winning the election with 6,694 votes.

Gray wins Court at Law seat

The County Court at Law #1 seat was one that the incumbent stood no chance.

PAC gaining membership

Opposition to the rollback election in May is rapidly becoming a groundswell of people joining a political action committee, Save Our Services, to get the word out; vote no to rollback taxes.
