Super S Foods raises over $32,000 for St. Jude hospital

Super S Food recently presented a check for $32,572 for its participation in the annual St. Jude Halloween Pumpkin Fund-Raising Promotion.

The majority of the money raised came from Super S Foods customers throughout Central and South Texas.

This year marks the 15th year of the St. Jude Halloween promotion. Today, more than 300 Coors distributors and 35,000 retail locations from across the country participate in the fundraiser.

Since its inception, the Halloween program has raised more than $30 million for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities throughout the world.

No family ever pays for treatments not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay. St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC, its fund-rasing organization.
