Burglary of a Vehicle

On Juiy 11, 2004, a burglary of a motor vehicle occurred at the Natural Bridge Caverns, off FM 3009. Taken was a women's purse, containing the victim's ID, credit and ATM cards, etc. Within the next several hours, the perpetrator attempted, with varying degrees of success, to utilize the cards. The suspect was photographed at a (northside) San Antonio ATM withdrawing funds from the victim's account.

Comal County Sheriff's Office Investigator, Michael Weddel, believes that the suspect is responsible for several other vehicle burglaries in Comal County; and it is believed this suspect is "a person of interest" in reference to vehicle burglaries in the Schertz, Selma, Universal City, and San Antonio areas.
